Toyota continues to be one of the only manufacturers with a balanced blend between car and truck sales. Toyota’s cars make up nearly 43.0% of sales while trucks make up 57.0% of sales. This is worth noting when Ford’s sales are 77.0% trucks and Chevrolet’s sales are 69.0% trucks. Toyota’s top selling unit for 2017 is the RAV4, making up 19.0% of Toyota’s total sales and nearly 34.0% of Toyota’s truck sales. Toyota’s second most popular model is the Camry, which represents 18.0% of Toyota’s total sales and nearly 43.0% of all car sales. Not only does Toyota have a good mix between cars and trucks, it has an equal spread of sales amongst its entire fleet of vehicles.
