Typical Chrysler dealerships have the Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep franchise and occasionally include the Ram franchise. As a result, these brands have been grouped together for our analysis. Of the consolidated group, the Jeep brand holds the largest share, representing 41.0% of the total group’s sales. Jeep’s leading vehicle is the Grand Cherokee, recording over 240,000 units sold in 2017 representing over 29.0% of Jeep sales and nearly 12.0% of the group’s total. Following Jeep is Ram, representing 28.0% of the group’s total sales. Ram sales are primarily made up of pickup models. Ram pickup sales surpassed 500,000 units in 2017 representing nearly 90.0% of all Ram sales and nearly 25.0% of the group’s total sales. The Dodge brand recorded nearly 450,000 unit sales and made up 22.0% of the group’s total sales, while Chrysler sold just below 190,000 units and made up less than 10.0% of the group’s sales.
