Background: It is the policy of RubinBrown that team members not solicit clients for employment. Policy: Team members solicited by a client with an offer of employment should promptly discuss the solicitation with their Career Advocate(s), Human Resources, or Service Unit Leader. Procedure: It is important to bring such matters to the attention of a decision-maker with whom the team member may confide in so any question as to a team member's potential, future, or status with the Firm may be clarified. The Career Advocate(s) program was developed to fulfill the need of guiding, assisting and mentoring team members with counsel and assistance concerning professional matters, as well as opportunities for personal growth and development. While the Firm believes the opportunities within RubinBrown are varied and challenging, in some cases, a career outside the Firm may seem suitable or attractive. Please be assured your Career Advocate(s) will assist in every way possible, to make any move you feel will be advantageous to you. Demand outside of the profession for team members well-trained in public accounting is substantial. The Service Unit Leader will be happy to discuss such opportunities with you. We ask that you discuss your interest in a position outside of the Firm with your Career Advocate(s) or a member of Human Resources prior to accepting any offer of employment (see Termination of Employment - Policy 209). ABACUS Recruiting may be used in conjunction with any career counseling and/or opportunities which a team member seeks.
