Background: RubinBrown offers as a benefit to our team members a “Transportation Fringe Benefit Plan.” Policy: RubinBrown provides team members the opportunity to pay for qualified parking or public transportation expenses through a combination of employer contributions, and the team member’s share with pre-tax dollars by entering into a payroll deduction agreement with RubinBrown. Procedure: New team members are required to complete and submit a parking application (when required) accompanied with a RubinBrown Transportation Fringe Benefit Plan Election Application agreeing to a deduction amount prior to receiving an assigned FOB/building card and Parking Cards if paid parking applies. Team members who utilize public transportation may choose between a rail or bus pass. Team members will continue to participate until termination of employment or by revoking the election by contacting Human Resources. Team members utilizing parking facilities are expected to extend common courtesy and obey traffic laws as they drive through or park in the parking facilities. RubinBrown is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged property. Team members are encouraged to partner with other team members when entering and exiting the building outside of regularly scheduled office hours. If a team member anticipates working after regularly scheduled office hours, it is also suggested to move the vehicle, at the close of office hours, to a parking space near the entrance to the building.
