Setting up Social Media Profiles for Business Use The following general guidelines should be used to ensure your individual profile is consistent with your profile on the Firm website and other firm publications. Firm-specific accounts, discussion groups and blogs are considered property of RubinBrown and must be approved prior to setup. Contact the Marketing Department for more information. 1. Company Description . Include the following description of the firm – Founded in 1952, RubinBrown LLP is one of the nation’s leading accounting and professional consulting firms with offices located across the U.S. 2. Password Requirements. To prevent unauthorized access, passwords should be complex and difficult to guess. Use at least eight characters, including upper and lower case, numbers and symbols. 3. Privacy Settings. Privacy settings on social media platforms can typically be set to allow anyone to view your profile information or restrict access so your information is viewable by connections/friends only. RubinBrown recommends making your profile public (viewable by anyone) on networks used for business communications so other users may find you. The firm recommends restricted privacy settings on personal social media networks and on sites that allow others to post information to your account or see personal information. Be mindful not to share or post information that you would not want the public to see, regardless of your privacy settings. 4. User Agreements/Terms of Service. Team members should always review and abide by the user agreement or terms of service on social media platforms. If there are concerns or conflicts between a social media platform’s terms of service and RubinBrown’s policies, please contact the Marketing Department for further clarification or instruction. Social Media for Personal Use: The following rules shall apply to personal use of social media sites: • As a team member of the firm, all postings, whether personal or business-related, reflect upon the firm and should be in alignment with the firm’s core values. • Firm email addresses should not be used for personal social media accounts. • “RubinBrown” should not be used in team members’ screen names or account names. • Use of Firm social media accounts for personal purposes is not permitted. • In general, refrain from connecting with clients in personal accounts. Business accounts are better suited for this type of communication. • Avoid personal use of social media sites during working hours. • Always review and abide by the user agreement or terms of service of a social media platform. Review and Enforcement: The firm reserves the right to review all postings by team members and may request the deletion of any postings that are not in alignment with the before mentioned guidelines, whether for personal or business communications. The firm reserves the right to restrict access to social media sites if necessary. Policy

violations will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination for cause. Questions: Questions about this policy should be directed to the Marketing Department.
