Misrepresentations of the Firm: If you see misrepresentations made about the Firm in the media, direct that information to your Career Advocate or Human Resources and the Marketing Department for response. See also Policy Number 1300: Public Relations and Media Policy. Requests from the Media: Any requests for comments from the media should be forwarded to the Marketing Department for response. Respect Trademark and Copyright Laws: Respect the laws governing trademark, copyright and fair use or fair dealing of copyrighted material owned by others, including the firm’s copyrights and brands. Team members should only quote short excerpts of someone else's work, and always attribute such work to the original author/source. It is good general practice to link to others' work rather than reproduce it. Use of firm logos and trademarks require permission from the firm’s Marketing Department prior to use. Disclaimers: Team members using social media for business communications may use LinkedIn, X (Twitter), and Instagram, and only in approved cases, some blogs formats. In all cases, team members must use a disclaimer saying that while employed by RubinBrown, anything published is a personal opinion, and not necessarily the opinion of the firm, as well as link to the disclaimer page on the firm's website (www.rubinbrown.com/disclaimers) as outlined below.
