Chickasaw Nation Makes History with First Official NFL/Casino Partnership: In September 2018, the Chickaasaw Nation’s WinStar World Casino and Resort became the first casino to officially sponsor an NFL team, achieving the milestone of sponsoring an NFL team before their commercial gaming counterparts could achieve similar agreements. The partnership will provide the WinStar World Casino significant brand exposure through the use of the Dallas Cowboys’ trademarks in the Casino’s marketing materials and the casino being the named title sponsor for the Cowboys’ pregame shows. Ball and Dice Games Come to Oklahoma: The growth rates seen in 2017 are expected to continue into 2018. In August 2018, Oklahoma tribal casinos were allowed to expand their table game offering to include roulette and craps. The expansion of table game offerings occurred as the State passed legislation aimed at boosting overall revenues for the industry. While the legislation was aimed at assisting the industry, Oklahoma will also gain from the increased revenues as the State collects a 10% revenue share on the monthly net table game revenues.
