It is also imperative to consider the cyber security and IT governance considerations related to data and AI. As the systems become more and more integrated and interconnected, there is also the increased likelihood of widespread system outages or cyber attacks. These risks can be mitigated with properly laid IT governance and a cyber security program. As is true with all technology, it is unlikely we can put our head in the sand and ignore it, as the technology is increasing the rate at which change is happening. Organizations at all levels and in all industries are faced with this challenge and we do not believe governments will be the exception. Adoption of technology could be the lifeline for a resource-strained governmental sector.
