Additionally, an organization needs to show employees regularly that they care and appreciate their efforts, which can be done through various recognition programs. Burnout is the sum of a variety of contributing factors that wear individuals over time. There are important actions an organization can take to help prevent and overcome burnout, with a primary one being support for employees by encouraging deep and meaningful mentor relationships. From an organizational perspective, the culture of the organization can incorporate these actions such that they are ingrained to the point that burnout is rare and employees thrive.
