Background: RubinBrown has established a referral bonus for team members who bring new and qualified experienced external talent to the Firm or ABACUS Recruiting. Policy: After a referred candidate has been hired by RubinBrown, the referring team member will be eligible to receive a referral bonus. Resumes and /or credentials of qualified, external candidates for regular status positions should be directed to a member of the Recruitment team. Candidates referred by RubinBrown team members should acknowledge the referring RubinBrown team members on the online application by selecting "team member referral" in the source field. The bonus schedule is listed below: • Experienced Management Group: $15,000 • Experienced Client Service Team Member: $10,000 Procedure: The referring team member will receive ½ of the referral bonus on the next regular pay period following the referrals' start date. The remaining ½ of the referral bonus will be paid to the referring team member upon the referred team member’s one year anniversary, providing that both the referring team member and the referred team member are “active-status” team members on that date. If a temporary referral becomes a regular, active status team member within 90 days of their original hire date, the referring team member will also be eligible for the team member referral bonus, less the amount of bonus already paid for the referred team member. RubinBrown team members who make referrals to be placed by ABACUS Recruiting in temporary assignments, will receive a $500 referral bonus, payable after the referral has completed at least 160 hours of work. Team members who make referrals to be placed in full-time regular status positions, will receive a $1,000 referral bonus made payable after 6 months of employment. If the referral is assigned first as a “temporary” and then converts to full-time regular placement, only the temporary bonus will be awarded. All referrals must be initiated by an “active status” RubinBrown team member. The referral bonus applies to experienced candidate hires only. Referrals of campus recruits and/or current students are not eligible. Referring team members may not interview, have authority, influence the hiring decision nor shall the referral become a direct subordinate of the referring team member. If the referral has a Flexible Work Plan (FWP) schedule (see Policy #214), the referral bonus could be a prorated amount to match the FWP schedule. If the referral is a former team member, the eligibility for bonus is subject to review by the Service Unit Leader and Recruitment Director. The referral could be prorated, based on the length of time the referral has been inactive from the firm. RubinBrown reserves the right to increase, decrease or discontinue the team member referral bonus. • Team Member within Firm Operations: $1,500 • Seasonal/Tax Season Only Team Member: $1,500
