Background: RubinBrown provides benefits to assist team members in meeting healthcare and dependent care expenses on a pre-tax basis. Policy: RubinBrown allows both full time and Flexible Work Program team members working 1,000 hours or more in a fiscal year, to voluntarily defer current compensation to pay for certain health or dependent care expenses on a pretax basis using a Flexible Spending Account (FSA). Temporary full-time or part-time (including interns and Tax Season Only) team members are not eligible for this benefit. Procedure: Please see the FSA documents found on the UKG Benefits page and click the Links menu option as each type of account has specific attributes, statutory limits and rules. Compensation voluntarily deferred will be withheld through payroll deduction and added to the team member’s FSA account(s). Amounts voluntarily deferred are not currently subject to federal, state or Social Security taxes. Open enrollment is held in November of each year to provide team members an opportunity to participate in the plan and/or make changes effective January 1.
