Though deal activity has slowed somewhat the past couple of years, when compared to 2010 through 2013, it is still expected to remain strong and steady for hospitals as they continue to look for cost-cutting measures and ways to fend off competing market participants. As new methods of providing less costly and more efficient care arise, transaction activity among providers, including hospitals, is likely to continue.
